A warm welcome
To ensure that you are always up to date on all important aspects, we have compiled the most important Corona information for your stay with us for you below.
Please familiarize yourself before your arrival with the regulations that we have developed for the greatest possible protection of all persons involved in our house.
Many of the current measures and partly limited services are based on governmental orders. We will do everything we can to ensure that you nevertheless have a fully enjoyable and relaxing stay at our hotel.

A security concept applies to all interior areas of the conference hotel.
This means that guests can only be granted access to our building if one of the two proofs is presented:
- Proof of full vaccination protection, which has been in place for at least 14 days.
- Proof of recovery
In addition, a current negative test is required.
The obligation to present a negative test does not apply to all guests who have a so-called booster vaccination. In this case, the hotel must be provided with proof of the corresponding vaccination status.
Guests who cannot provide this proof will not be allowed to enter the building until further notice.
Hygiene and safety concept
The protection and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have established a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept in which important measures and regulations are summarized. Here you can find the currently valid version.
There is a requirement for all guests to provide proof of at least one of the following upon arrival at our hotel:
Proof of vaccination
All arriving guests have a complete vaccination and the last vaccination dose was administered at least 14 days prior to arrival. Proof of this must be provided by presenting the vaccination certificate.
Proof of recovery from Corona infection
All arriving guests can prove by means of a medical or official certificate that a PCR-tested Corona infection was present at least 28 days and not more than 6 months ago.
In addition, a recent negative test is required.
> A rapid antigen test must not be older than 24 hours. A PCR test result, on the other hand, is valid for 48 hours.
The obligation to present a negative test does not apply to all guests who have a so-called booster vaccination. The corresponding vaccination status must be proven to the hotel in this case.
All guests who do not currently have a so-called “booster vaccination” must also present a current proof of a negative test upon arrival and keep it up to date during the entire stay.
A test result of a rapid antigen test is valid for 24 hours. A PCR test is valid for 48 hours.
In case of a stay of several days in our house a test has to be renewed by further tests if necessary.
We recommend all guests without a “booster vaccination” to arrive already with a valid test certificate.
For stays of several days we have set up a test room in our house. Here, a free self-test can be carried out under supervision and, in the event of a negative test result, a corresponding certificate will also be provided.
Our buffet restaurant seeheim’s eat & meet is open and spacious areas with tables are available in the restaurant and on our terrace.
Always included in the accommodation package, we offer our large breakfast buffet here. According to the current regulations, some ingredients are pre-portioned.
Lunch and dinner are either included in a corresponding meeting package or arrangement as well or can be booked additionally. These meals are also offered in the appropriate buffet format.
A mask must be worn while guests are moving around the restaurant. The mask can be removed at the table and at the seats.
At the moment it is unfortunately not allowed to stay at our bars. However, for complementary drinks with your meal and for small snacks, coffee and cake during the day, our
seeheim’s central bar is available. Here you can also get a range of drinks outside the buffet hours.
Our vinotheque red or white as well as our bar last call are unfortunately currently closed or only open for individual events.
Our pool, the saunas and the fitness club are open. It is a prior appointment booking at our reception is required.
Medical mouth and nose protection must be worn when entering and leaving the area and in the changing rooms. For further regulations, please refer to the appropriate on-site signs.
Through an external service provider, we can also offer you relaxing massages in the house as part of a package or as separate services. Please note that our provider must independently check a daily negative test and that a medical FFP2 mask must always be worn during a treatment.
If you are unable to take advantage of a massage service included in a package at short notice, or if a suitable treatment date is not available due to the current additional expense of disinfection, etc., we will reimburse you with a voucher for alternative services such as drinks during your stay. Please contact our reception for further information.
For outdoor activities we have, among other things, free mountain bikes and several e-bikes (for a fee) at your disposal. In our garden you will also find a table tennis table – rackets and balls are available at our reception.
Our reception has maps for hikes as well as some excursion tips ready for our guests and will be happy to make suggestions.

The circumstances can change quickly due to the development of the number of infections. We are monitoring this situation very closely and will always provide you with the latest information here. However, we cannot guarantee that this information is complete and up-to-date.
Please let us do everything together to ensure that nothing stands in the way of a successful conference and a relaxed stay on the Bergstrasse and in the Odenwald. Therefore, once again a request on our own behalf: Please help us to comply with all necessary measures. Please do not travel if you experience symptoms that could indicate a Corona infection. If you are unable to travel due to quarantine or illness, there will be no cancellation charges for individual single bookings.
